Headlined by The Round Mountain Girls and supported by an impressive line-up of local talent including Electrik Lemonade, San Mei and Liv Heyer. With fun for the whole family, the night will boast delicious food vendors, the JJ Richards ‘Aussie Activities Zone’ including water play and arts activities as well as beach volleyball on the foreshore.

On Sunday 23 February, Sand Talk will come alive on the sands of Surfers Paradise beach - a day of opportunity to embrace community stories of strength, inspiration and support. The doors of Sand Talk – The Art of Conversation will open with its countless messages of hope, will inspire visitors to write messages of wisdom on the day. The highlight of the event will include an immersive Human Art experience on the sands of Surfers Paradise beach. With a drone flying high, the community will come together to form a giant speech bubble in support for everyone to share #YourStory in a safe and welcoming environment.
Award-winning music festival Surfers Paradise LIVE is back in 2020 with a stellar line-up of world-class, home-grown indie rockstars. Experience four days and nights of jam-packed entertainment as Australia’s best musicians ignite across three stages against the backdrop of the iconic Surfers Paradise beach.
The event will kick off on Thursday 30 April with the Gold Coast Music Awards (GCMA) which celebrates the music diversity and culture of South East Queensland. The night will feature emerging artists, while bringing together music industry professionals and fans to spotlight and reward the Gold Coast’s best musicians. The GCMA’s will also include a FREE outdoor concert with performances to be announced. With a capacity of over 50,000 and an electric live atmosphere, Suncorp Stadium is the home of rugby league in Queensland and one of the state’s premier venues for soccer, rugby union and live concerts from international stars.
